Let the Games Begin!

A moving experience today among so many others! The town of Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympuc games. We were guided through  a magnificent museum. We were supplied with a vox box to hear our guide. Both Anne & l failed to turn ours on..!!??? I did my best lip reading. Outside We roamed the amazing ruins of the games held every year. So sophisticated, so well thought out for the cudos, the mind & body! I'm not doing it justice but it was staggering on its size . Olympia was later burnt destroyed and built over by the Romans. We walked thru an archway which was the tunnel that the athletes walked thru, got naked and emerged for a new beginning. We stood on the marble start line for the runners. My words don't describe its magnitude nor magnificence.
