Life has its misadventures!

The day began with pouring rain in Athens apparently this is most unusual as we have been told by at least 3 people!
We then began an 11 hour travel marathon that took us to Taomina Sicily by midnight! Taxi, plane delayed, misdirected to a bus that robbed us of hours, walk up a mountain side in the dark to Arch Messina, more walking to our B&B with our host. Lordy. By chance at the bustop we met a delightful French woman Stephanie all the way from Footscray ! She tackled bartering a taxi driver to take us to Taomina an hour plus away. No deal! She was delightful and had been working on the train lines eg Surrey Hills & Mont Albert. What a coup! She fixed Anne's WiFi connection  and did magical things!
Our B & B is absolutely delightful. Our host Evelynne is fantastic . Her martal status is hilarious which she shared with us at breakfast. The rooftop is where breakfast is held and she cannot do enough! Lots of laughs. Mt Etna always in the background  of our photos. Is that cloud or a smoking volcano? We couldn't be happier here in Taomina...it's a beautiful pretty mountainous place!  The scary tight hair pin bends that the bus took up the mountain were hair raising. Other vehicles and buses had to reverse to let our bus turn!
